MARINE FORCES RESERVE, New Orleans -- Marine Corps Community
Services hosted a Four Lenses Facilitators’ Training here from
July 30 to August 1. The training prepared participants to facilitate Four
Lenses temperament assessments for Marines,
Sailors, civilian employees, and family members of Marine Forces Reserve.
The program is being implemented throughout the
Marine Corps and is intended to improve communication skills, interpersonal
relationships, and help with stress management associated with
military life and deployments. MarForRes units interested in having a
facilitator administer the Four Lenses
family deployment skills should contact Marine Corps Family Team Building
for more information at (504) 678-0340 or
mccs2@mfr.usmc.mil.![]() The training commenced with a color-coded Four Lenses multi-step personality test designed to enable participants to gain insight into their temperament types. Individuals identify strengths within their temperament preferences and then learn how to effectively interact with other temperament types. (Official USMC photo by Cpl. Brandon S. Mountain)
