Mission Statement
4th Reconnaissance Battalion, and subordinate elements, conduct
reconnaissance and surveillance, certain offensive operations, and
battlespace shaping in order to collect information of military
significance, destroy, deceive, or disrupt enemy forces or actions,
and support specialized mission requirements of the Ground Combat
Element or Marine Air-Ground Task Force Commander.
