your Reserve End Current Contract (RECC), Mandatory Drill Stop Date (MDSD) or
End of Active Service (EAS) is within 12 months you need to see the Career
Planner or Company 1stSgt. If you don’t
have a clue when your RECC, MDSD or EAS is, this information can be found in
MOL or contact the Career Planner and/or your 1stSgt.
Basic

have passed a current PFT

within height and weight standards

Fit-Rep date gaps

medically and Dental qualified (PHA or Physical with in 1 year)

certified CRCR within 1 year
As you can see, a lot of
things need to be done and it is the individual Marine’s responsibility to make
sure he is qualified.
Note: A Marine must submit a reenlistment request
NLT 90 days prior to their RECC/EAS.

What Selection Boards Consider. Career Retirement Credit Report (CRCR), Fitness Reports, Photograph, Reserve Qualification Summary, Official Military Personnel File & Master Brief Sheet, and PME completion. It is the Marine’s responsibility to ensure his/her records are accurate and complete.
For LCpl’s and Cpl’s your diary entries (PFT’s, MCI’s,
Rifle/ Pistol score’s, Referrals) must be input by the unit admin 45 days prior
to the publication of the quarterly cutting scores. See your Career Retention Specialist for more
