Lieutenant Colonel Robert M. Clark
 

 

Lieutenant Colonel Clark is currently assigned as  Inspector-Instructor, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marines, 4th Marine Division, Philadelphia, PA. 

Lieutenant Colonel Clark enlisted in the Marine Corps reserves in June 1987. Upon graduation from recruit training and communications school, Lieutenant Colonel Clark was assigned to 3rd Bn 24th Marines. 

In October 1990, Lieutenant Colonel Clark deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operations Desert Storm/Shield.  Lieutenant Colonel Clark was commissioned in 1993 following the graduation from the University of Missouri Columbia. Following Basic School and Field Artillery Basic Officer Course, he was assigned to India Battery, 3rd Battalion, 11th Marines, 29 Palms CA., where he served as a Forward Observer, Guns Platoon Commander, Fire Direction Officer and Battery Executive Officer.

     From March 1997 to April 200 he served as the Operations officer and Executive Officer, Recruiting Station St. Louis Mo.  In May 2000, Lieutenant Colonel Clark attended the Field Artillery Officer's Advance Course, Fort Sill Oklahoma. In January 2001, Lieutenant Colonel reported to Camp Lejeune, NC, and assumed command of India Battery 3rd Bn 12th Marines and deployed to Okinawa in support of the UDP program. In June 2002, Lieutenant Colonel Clark was assigned to 5th Bn 10th Marines and served as the Operations Officer and the Executive Officer. 

     From October 2003 to September 2004, he was assigned to the Operations Section 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Ops Capable), during which he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In October 2004, he reported to U.S. Joint Forces Command Norfolk, VA., where he was assigned to the Deployable Training Team, Joint Warfighting Center, Suffolk Va. Lieutenant Colonel Clark served as a Current Operations and Joint Fires Observer Trainer and assisted training U.S. Joint Task Force Headquarters worldwide including Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. In September 2007, Lieutenant Colonel Clark was assigned as the Contact Team Officer, 12th Marine Corps District, MCRD San Diego, CA.   In May of 2008, he was promoted to his current rank and assumed the billet as the Operations Officer, 12th Marine Corps District.  In June 2009, Lieutenant Colonel Clark assumed command as the Inspector-Instructor, 3rd Bn 14th Marines.

     His personal decorations in the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal(2nd award) and the Army Achievement Medal.
